Am Freitag wurde der Clip zur Single "Endli wiedermal" released und ich sass währenddessen im Flugzeug nach Südafrika. Ok, ich weiss, es war ein wenig fies von mir, Chris und dem Management die ganze Arbeit zu überlassen und einfachin die Ferien zu fliegen. Aber was sollte ich machen, ich hatte halt Fernweh. Doch zurück zum Videoclip. Es ist immer eine ganz besondere Sache für uns und wir haben es uns zur Aufgabe gemacht, immer wieder etwas Neues zu wagen, so auch diesmal. Nachdem in den vergangenen Video-Clips hauptsächlich unsere Gesichter präsentiert worden waren, verzichteten wir diesmal gänzlich auf unsere physische Anwesenheit. Dafür waren in Los Angeles Schauspieler gecastet worden, die danndie Aufgabe bekamen, die Stimmung des Videosongs umzusetzen. Jannick Glück, ein Filmemacher und langjähriger Freund, erarbeitete in Zürich zusammen mit uns das Konzept und reiste dann weiter nach Los Angeles, wo er sein ganzes Herzblut in dieses Projekt hineinsteckte. Wie gesagt, Chris und ich waren beim Dreh nicht dabei und hatten deshalb keine Ahnung, was dabei herausgekommen ist. Dafür hatten wir ein paar Wochen später das seltene Vergnügen, unvoreingenommen den fertigen Video-Clip in Empfang zu nehmen. Unsere Begeisterung war verständlicherweise gross. Jannick Glück hat mit seinen Bildern genau den Nerv des Songs getroffen undsich dabei erstaunlich präzise an unser Konzept gehalten. Ein solches Projekt liesse sich normalerweise nicht bezahlen und umso wichtiger scheint es wieder einmal, dass man – gerade als Musiker – gute Freunde hat, die mit am selben Strick ziehen.
